One-off Shows
The Donald Black Band
Donald and the band (Donnie MacKenzie on guitar and Ross Wilson on keyboard) accompanied by Irish singer/songwriter Mary Kathleen Burke play St Andrews in the Square, St Andrews Square, Glasgow on Friday, 26th March at 8:00pm. Tickets are £12 and £10 for concessionary. There will also be a Licensed Bar. For tickets visit the Ticket Soup.

Donald Black Ceilidh with Local Musicians
Donald will be joined by local musicians at the Tarskavaig Community Hall, Sleat, Isle of Skye for an informal evening of Highland Music on Saturday 7th August. As this is a small hall with limited space, admission will be first come first served! Contact; 01471 855368; or Carol. Contributions at the door for hall funds - suggested donation £8, BYOB (bring your own bottle).

The Scots Moothie Group
The next session night at Sandy Bell's, Forrest Road (near Edinburgh University) will be Monday 15th March 2010 at 8pm. This session has a regular contingent of moothie players from the Scots Music Group's two moothie classes, and is led by George Current, an ex-Scots Music Group tutor.
Kelso Folk & Live Music Club
On Fridays the Kelso Folk & Live Music Club hold their sessions at the Acoustic cafe at Le Jardin 7.30-10pm and pub session at the Cobbles Inn 10pm-late.
Derbyshire
At the Barrel
Open Folk Music Sessions at the Barrel Inn, Bretton (between Eyam and Bradwell), in the Hope Valley Derbyshire. The session usually starts around 8.30pm every Wednesday and the Inn provides free sandwiches for musicians.
Jam Session with Patrick at the Plough, Heaton Moor, Stockport
Live music jam session with Patrick from Smokey Terrain. Held in the main bar, bring your instruments and join in with one of the best music sessions in the North West; Country, Folk, Blues, Cajun, Bluegrass, or play your own songs. Bring your family and friends for a fantastic welcome. Come along and support this event and help keep music live on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, lunchtime from 1pm until 4pm at the Plough, Heaton Moor Rd, Heaton Moor, Stockport, Cheshire, SK4 4NZ.
