Dreams & Dances is the latest album from Donald Black, featuring pieces mostly drawn from the West of Scotland Gaelic tradition, plus some new compositions.   Each track is backed by fine Scottish guest musicians to enhance Donald's rich tone.  Donald is joined on this album by an impressive array of guest artistes - Ross Wilson, Allan Nairn, Harvey Leckie and Trish Strain. The album has been produced by Blazin Fiddles' Allan Henderson, who also plays on the album.   The album is also available directly from MacMeanmna on the Isle of Skye, either as an album or MP3 format.

Keil Road - This album from Donald Black is different to previous recordings in that it is mainly played on 10-hole diatonic and is an album of slow, reflective, airs mostly drawn from the West of Scotland Gaelic tradition.   Each track is backed by fine Scottish guest musicians to enhance Donald's rich tone.

Close to Home - by Donald Black, accompanied by Malcolm Jones of Runrig, he plays Scottish Celtic music drawn mostly from the West Coast pipe and Gaelic traditions, with a unique combination of backing instruments including various harmonicas, acoustic and electric stringed and free reed instruments.  Donald and Malcolm Jones have announced that work on their long-awaited second joint album has now recommenced, after various work commitments and unforeseen events held back progress. Further details will follow.

Westwind: Scottish Mouth Organ Music - by Donald Black on mouth organ in his first CD with a variety of accompanists including Malcolm Jones.

Moothie - by Bryce Johnstone on mouth organ, with Bill Ewan on keyboard and Jim Rodger on drums playing Jigs, reels and marches.

Sook 'n' Blaw - is the latest album by Bryce Johnstone on mouth organ, again accompanied by Bill Ewan on keyboard playing more Airs, Jigs, Reels and Marches in his usual melodic way.

Moothie Magic - first CD by Sandy Kerr, click on the link to email Sandy or telephone him on 01542 834610.

Mair Moothie Magic - second CD by Sandy Kerr, click on the link to email Sandy or telephone him on 01542 834610.

British Folk Songs on Chandos by the late Tommy Reilly, accompanied by Skaila Kanga on Celtic Harp is perhaps the purest of harmonica music, played by Tommy on Chromatic harmonica in his clean expressive style. Although Irish, my favourite track is the beautifully played Kathleen Mavoureen.

Moothie Memories - 1998 CD by Ayrshire Moothie player Bobby Torrance whose original 1982 album cassette was titled 'Moothie Magic'.

Sook and Blaw - Melodeon, Concertina & Moothie Classics.
